Mike
del Ferro, pianist Pianist, Composer and Arranger Mike del Ferro (Amsterdam,1965), is the son of opera singer Leonardo del Ferro who performed with Maria Callas in the late fifties. He started playing classical piano at the age of 9. Later he became interested in Jazz and studied Contemporary music at the Conservatory in Amsterdam and obtained his Master Degree in 1990. In 1989 he won the first prize (a grand Piano) at the Rotterdam Jazz piano Contest, that same year he won the soloist prize at the Europe Jazz Contest in Brussels and the first prize at the Karlovy Vary Jazz contest. |

Rob Mostert, Hammond Organ Rob got his first organ lessons at the early age of eight. After being taught the basics by his brother Eric he received further tutoring at the local music school. As a ten year old he played at school dances and went on to more professional work, playing music during fashion shows (age 12) and being the keyboarder of several bands (age 14). |

and the dutch grammy (Edison) for the cd "Rob van Bavel trio". |

Wolfert
Brederode - piano, composition Dutch pianist Wolfert Brederode (1974) earned his masters degree in both classical and jazz piano at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. His refined and focused touch, his concern for the musical flow at any circumstance and his creativity are the hallmarks of his playing and he is being recognized as a highly personal and poetic voice in the jazz scene today. Bert van den Brink, piano was born
on the 24th. of july 1958. When he was five years old he got his first
piano lesson. In 1976 Bert started his professional education at the conservatory
of Utrecht. He studied piano with Herman Uhlhorn. In 1982 he graduated
cum laude. In that same year he was employed at the Utrechts' conservatory
to teach jazz piano. From childhood he has already been improvising a
lot on piano and organ. In this field of the music Bert is completely
self tought. In the first period after graduation he gave several classical
recitals, but gradually the balance changed more to jazz. He performed
with musicians like: Chet Baker, Nat Aderly, Benny Golson, Lee Konitz,
Philip Catherine, Clare Fischer, Enrico Pieranunzi, Louis van Dijk, Jules
de Corte, Cor Bakker, John Engels, Hein van de Geyn, Hans van Oosterhout,
Dee DEe Bridgewater Denise Jannah, Miranda van Kralingen, Heleen van den
Hombergh, Rick Margitza, In 1990 and 1991 he was the pianist in the quartet
of Dee Dee Bridgewater. |

Egbert
Derix, pianist Egbert started playing the piano at age 15. At 18 he was admitted to the Maastricht Conservatory. There he studied with Irvin Rochlin, Frank Giebels, and Louise Wolfs. In 1994 he graduated for his teachingdegree in Jazzpiano. In 1995 he received his diploma for "Jazzperfomance".
